Regional agenda for the Water Authority Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard
The Regional Water Authority 'Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard' manages the quality of the water, flood control, water level and several roads, for a region with more than 600.000 inhabitants. It is responsible for ‘dry feet and clear water’ for a large part of Rotterdam, Zuidplas, Lansingerland and Krimpenerwaard while issues like climate change and increasing weather extremes become increasingly frequent. Urbis has developed a dynamic regional agenda that connects the challenges of the water authority with spatial developments in the region in a complete and coherent manner. This tool will be used by the water authority to work in collaboration with their regional partners.
